Joyce and me - a cross country canter in Norfolk
Looking south west from Walesby Ridge, Lincolnshire. Lincoln Cathedral eighteen miles away on the skyline.
Our little town of Market Rasen below on the right.
A Georgian classic on the Norfolk Broads
The famous painting -Grant Wood’s American Gothic - celebrates misery. My version cheers it up. They loved putting the wine cork on the spike.
Rembrandt’s Man in the Golden Helmet, and Michaelangelo’s Mona Lisa, have always seemed to me to be lonely people. Hopefully these versions cheer them up. They adorn our kitchen wall in Scottsdale.
